You can travel from Seoul to Gangneung within 2 hours by KTX.
It operates daily at both Seoul Station and Cheongnyangni Station. the fare is approximately $ 25.

Bus

There are two kinds of buses to go Gangneung City from Seoul, which are  inter-city buses and express buses. but there are few differences, so we recommend you to book the bus whatever you prefer.
