Pancakes are eaten in many different forms around the world. Jeon which is Korean pancake, is commonly eaten as an appetizer or as anju which is side dishes for drinking, especially makgeolli; Korean traditional alcohol.

We have various kinds of Jeon like pajeon (spring onion pancake), and kimchijeon, meatjeon and so on. The jeon name commonly follows its main ingredient.
